Amani Living operates intimate, residential care homes with an intentionally low caregiver-to-resident ratio (often 1:3 to 1:4). In contrast to large, 100+ bed institutional facilities where residents can feel like room numbers, our residents enjoy personalized home-cooked meals, private suites, and a true family environment where caregivers know each individual intimately.
Yes! We are certified Texas providers for Home and Community-Based Services (HCS), Texas Home Living (TxHmL), and Community First Choice (CFC) waivers. We also welcome private pay residents and long-term care insurance policies. Our intake specialists are happy to help you verify your benefits at no charge.
Absolutely. This is our residents' home. We maintain an open, welcoming visitation policy and encourage family members to join us for holiday meals, community gatherings, or casual afternoon visits in our lounge and patio gardens.
All medications are securely stored and administered strictly according to physician prescriptions by trained staff and licensed nurses. We also coordinate medical transportation and accompaniment for outside specialist appointments.
While most families transition over 1 to 2 weeks, we can expedite emergency admissions and respite stays within 24 to 48 hours following a clinical assessment by our nursing team.
